At Shanghai Zekun Machinery, we recently completed the sale of a massive CAT bulldozer, often called a “big monster” due to its sheer size and power. This machine was shipped to a mining and construction company in Russia, where it will be used for large-scale earthmoving projects.
Securing the Deal
The Russian buyer, looking for a high-horsepower bulldozer for extreme conditions, reached out after finding us online. They required a powerful, well-maintained machine at a competitive price. To build confidence, we provided:
• Detailed inspection reports, including engine, transmission, and undercarriage condition.
• Operational videos to showcase the bulldozer’s performance.
• Live video call inspection, allowing the client to see the machine in real-time.
After reviewing the reports, the client agreed on the purchase. We finalized the deal with a 30% deposit upfront and the balance upon receiving the Bill of Lading (B/L), on FOB Shanghai terms.
Loading & Shipment
Given the machine’s size, special logistics arrangements were required. Our team carefully disassembled key components, such as the blade and ripper, to fit into a flat-rack container for ocean freight. We secured the bulldozer with heavy-duty chains to prevent movement during transport.
Smooth Delivery & Future Collaboration
The machine is now on its way to Russia, with all customs and shipping documentation prepared in advance. The client was impressed with our professionalism and has already inquired about additional heavy-duty mining equipment, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership.
