Hunan Provincial Construction Machinery Second-hand Equipment Export Industry Alliance was established

On the morning of August 3, 2022, the founding meeting of the Hunan Provincial Construction Machinery Second-hand Equipment Export Industry Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Industry Alliance") was held in Changsha Economic Development Zone. More than 150 alliance member units held online and participate in this meeting offline to discuss the reform and development plans for the export of second-hand construction machinery equipment in Hunan Province.

After the establishment of the industry alliance, it will focus on the reform positioning of building a global high-end equipment manufacturing base. Focus on promoting the implementation of the pilot reform of the export of second-hand construction machinery equipment. This includes carrying out pilot enterprises and pilot platforms to promote certification, promoting the implementation of standards for second-hand equipment quality identification, inspection and testing, evaluation and certification, promoting the introduction of measures to facilitate the export of second-hand equipment, and launching a second-hand equipment export base local projects, improve second-hand equipment invoice management and other matters.

Guo Xuehong, the first-term chairman of the industry alliance, gave a special report on the export reform of second-hand construction machinery equipment. He pointed out that the second-hand construction machinery equipment export industry has great potential, and the scope of global second-hand construction machinery
transactions has been further expanded, the industry's trading mechanism has been continuously improved, market development has entered a mature stage, and the construction machinery market has entered the "inventory era." It is expected that by 2025, the annual transaction size of global second-hand construction machinery will exceed the US$400 billion mark. Judging from the domestic development status and trends, compared with the foreign situation where the transaction volume of second-hand and new machines is equivalent, there is still a large market space in the future. It is estimated that in 2025, China's second-hand construction machinery transaction volume will exceed 500 billion yuan.
